TMA speaks with Scott Gryder, 2022 Candidate for IL-14

CHICAGO – The Technology & Manufacturing Association is working to inform our small and midsized manufacturers about the candidates on the 2022 General Election ballot – and specifically, candidates on Illinois’ ballot.

The series of “TMA Conversations with 2022 Candidates” will be available online.  Federal Congressional and US Senate candidates were invited to answer a brief questionnaire and join TMA members during a virtual 30-minute interview with members of the TMA Advocacy Team.

The first conversation was held Wednesday, October 12, with Congressman Bill Foster (IL-11). The second was with Catalina Lauf, who is challenging Foster’s re-election for the 11th CD in 2022.

The third conversation was Wednesday, October 20th, with Scott Gryder, who is challenging incumbent US Congressman Sean Casten in Illinois’ new 6th CD this year. TMA’s invitation to Congressman Casten for a TMA Conversation has not been answered. The invitation remains open.

Here’s an unedited recording of TMA’s October 20th interview with Mr. Gryder:

The new Illinois 14th CD is in the pale green-colored district that runs from Illinois’ DeKalb County in the far west suburbs to eastern Peoria area, plus Will County’s Joliet:
