April 25th, the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) celebrated another class of industry students completing three years of studying related theory and honing their mechanical skills in tool & die making, CNC programming and mold making. All three are highly in-demand expertises in US manufacturing.
A class that began three years ago, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, was especially celebrated as family, friends and employers watched their graduates receive their hard-earned study diplomas.
Each graduate studied with TMA instructors in the evenings while they applied the skills they were learning during the day at their full-time positions. Each TMA graduate’s training was fully funded by his employer.
There were ten graduates in TMA’s 2024 Class in CNC Programming, one in the Mold Making class and thirteen in this year’s Tool & Die Making class.
