The 2025 election will be held April 1, and in total, 29 candidates responded to TMA’s query this year.

On October 30, the Liberty Justice Center filed a motion for a preliminary injunction in its legal challenge to Senate Bill 3649 (SB 3649), Illinois’ recently enacted employer speech ban. The motion urges the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to grant an order prohibiting the state from enacting and enforcing SB 3649 while litigation continues.
The effort to encourage more awareness of small and midsized manufacturers’ needs in the Illinois legislature continues to grow.
TMA’s Small and Midsized Manufacturing Caucus, first set into motion two years ago, started its first year with 31 Illinois House members and 23 Illinois House Senate members.
