TMA celebrates endorsed 2024 winners

SCHAUMBURG – The TMA PAC congratulates the 2024 General Assembly candidates they endorsed after assessing their TMA surveys, incumbents’ voting records and their involvement in TMA’s Small and Midsize Manufacturers (SaMM) Caucus.

“This has been an exciting time for small and midsize manufacturers to once again grasp the importance of them getting involved in political campaigns to elect lawmakers that understand and support Illinois’ crucial manufacturing industry,” said TMA’s Executive Vice President Dennis LaComb.

“TMA is determined to grow in its influence in Illinois’ state legislature. Our small and midsize manufacturers want to stay in Illinois, grow their businesses, be key in America’s greatness and pass their efforts onto the next generation. The General Assembly needs to hear our voice in determining public policy,” he said.

This season, TMA PAC took a small step forward in their political involvement by encouraging TMA members’ direct involvement by knocking on doors and encouraging direct contributions to crucial pro-manufacturing candidates.

The 2024 winners endorsed by the TMA PAC include:

  • C.D. Davidsmeyer
  • Jed Davis
  • Regan Deering
  • Amy Elik
  • David Friess
  • Jackie Haas
  • Norine Hammond
  • Jeff Keicher
  • Nicole La Ha
  • Tony McCombie
  • Debbie Meyers-Martin
  • Kyle Moore
  • Steve Reick
  • Jennifer Sanalitro
  • Kevin Schmidt
  • Joe Sosnowski
  • Dan Ugaste
  • Dave Vella
  • Tom Weber

Three TMA-endorsed 2024 candidates’ race remain undetermined as of November 7.  They include House members Amy Grant, Martin McLaughlin and Brandun Schweizer.

Several of these lawmakers have already visited TMA members’ companies, and TMA says it will be working in 2025 toward increasing state lawmakers’ first hand experiences with their members.

“We look forward to working with these House members to turn the tide back towards encouraging small and midsize manufacturing in Illinois and growing the membership of the Small and Midsize Manufacturers’ Caucus at the State Capitol,” LaComb said.
