WASHINGTON – Minnesota manufacturer Mike Lindell, founder and CEO of My Pillow, shared at a White House press conference Monday how his company is responding to the urgent needs with the COVID-19 crisis by focusing on making medical personnel face masks.
My Pillow has established an internal task force to determine current and future needs and how their company can help the country get through this health challenge, Lindell said.
The company is currently making 10,000 cloth facial masks a day, and plans to be up to 50,000 a day by the end of the week.
Lindell’s story is reflected throughout the nation as more and more American manufacturers that are able to do so pause their work to meet demands to mass produce ventilator parts, medical facial masks, shields and goggles, COVID-19 testing kits and numerous other products.
After the official statement, Lindell spontaneously commented about his personal faith, urging Americans to pray for the nation while they’re sheltering in place.
