In the upcoming primary election on March 17th, you will have the opportunity to vote for those who will represent us in our counties, state and Washington, DC.

TMA 2026 PRIMARY ELECTION RECOMMENDED CANDIDATES

In an effort to provide you information about candidates running in the March 17 primary election, TMA sent questionnaires to more than 150 primary candidates running for their party’s nomination for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Illinois Governor, Illinois Senate, and Illinois House. 

All the candidates who were asked their opinions on these issues are in contested primary races in districts where TMA members’ businesses are located.

Based on those candidates who respected you enough to respond, TMA is recommending the following bipartisan candidates who scored at least 80% on TMA’s 2026 Illinois Primary questionnaire:

  • Be a United States citizen.
