TMA staff meets up with TMA members at IMTS 2024 in Chicago

CHICAGO – Every other year, the global manufacturing industry meets up in America’s Midwest and this year, staff from the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) joined the excitement to find several TMA members among the 1600 exhibitors. 

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024 is a major event in the manufacturing industry at McCormick Place in Chicago. As the largest trade show in the Western Hemisphere, IMTS brings together innovators, sellers, and leaders in manufacturing technology to showcase the latest advancements in automation, additive manufacturing, CNC machining, tooling, and more.

IMTS 2024 featured a wide array of technologies across ten different manufacturing sectors.

TMA staffers walked what seemed to be the whole 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space of McCormick Place to find and visit as many TMA members as possible.

Some of the many members the TMA staff spotted included Alliance Specialties & Laser Sales, ATA Tools, Inc., BIG DAISHOWA, Billco Corporation, BTM Industries, Inc., CADDi, CARR Machine & Tool, Inc., Engis, Epicor, Everede Tool Company, Fusion/RoboJob-USA, Grainger, Graymills Corporation, HAINBUCH America, HEIDENHAIN, Iverson & Company, Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc., Lyndex-Nikken, Inc., M&M Grinding, Made To Measure, LLC, Mazak, MIDACO Corporation, Morris, PBC Linear, Platinum Tooling Technologies, Polaris Automation Inc., Proto-Cutter, Inc., Rolled Alloys, Sodick, TopSolid USA, Tower Metalworking Fluids, and Ty Miles. 

TMA also hosted a panel discussion during one of the many breakout sessions featuring TMA members Paul Van MetreRyan CarrKyra Tillman, and Beau D’Arcy, discussing The Shop of Our Future.
