TMA joins with Judson University to offer crucial leadership training sessions

 

SCHAUMBURG – The Technology & Manufacturing Association is announcing an exciting new partnership with Judson University in Elgin, Illinois, geared towards preparing future leaders in manufacturing.

The course consists of ten monthly sessions plus project work for which a dual-accredited certificate will be awarded along with an option of credits towards a college degree.

“We are pleased that Judson University shares our vision as we set into motion our first Manufacturing Leadership Program,” said TMA President Patrick Osborne. “This opportunity is one for which we’ve seen the need and have worked toward for a while. We look forward to seeing how this new program will open doors for more talented young people to consider and pursue crucial manufacturing careers.”

TMA’s Manufacturing Leadership Program will focus on enhancing knowledge, skills, and abilities of current and future leaders in manufacturing.

Designed by successful manufacturing executives, the program’s instructors will be industry professionals as well as business and manufacturing subject matter experts.

Topics presented in the ten sessions will range from the “Economics of Manufacturing,” “Manufacturing Business Strategy” to “Lean Manufacturing” and “Manufacturing Operations.”

“The program is receiving a lot of attention, we encourage anyone interested to reach out to us and secure their seat as soon as possible,” said Leigh McConnell, TMA’s Director of Training & Workforce Development.

The Manufacturing Leadership Program sessions will begin March 13, 2022, at Judson University in Elgin Illinois. More information is available by contacting education@tmaillinois.org.
