Technology & Manufacturing Association; Rock River Valley Tooling & Machining Association Announce Partnership

Collaboration Will Enhance and Expand Manufacturing Services in the Region

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) and the Rockford-based Rock River Valley Tooling & Machining Association (RRVTMA) announce a new partnership to collaboratively provide resources for small and midsize manufacturers in the North Central Illinois and Southern Wisconsin region.

Manufacturing is the foundation of the U.S. economy, the engine that drives American prosperity, and the basis for the country’s middle class. Three-quarters of all U.S. manufacturing companies are small to midsize firms. The new partnership will strengthen this sector throughout the region by providing technology, community, information, training, resources, and advocacy for the industry.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Rock River Valley,” said TMA President Patrick Osborne. “Both organizations understand the vital importance of providing assistance and resources for small and midsize manufacturers. Manufacturing plays a pivotal role in the overall economy, but the sector faces significant challenges. The work of associations like TMA and RRVTMA will be essential to maintaining the strength of the sector by making sure manufacturers can meet the demands and achieve success.”

“We look forward to working with TMA to help ensure the future prosperity of manufacturers by providing unparalleled service, support, connection, and the impact that assists them in successfully anticipating and meeting the present and future challenges and trends,” said RRVTMA President Casey Schwebke. “Our organizations are united in that goal, and we look forward to making the most of this new collaboration.”

“This new partnership will mean more coverage and support for manufacturers in the region, and, we hope, an even stronger manufacturing industry in the years to come,” concluded Osborne.
