The Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA), which represents nearly 800 manufacturing companies in northern Illinois, congratulates you on your decision to run for office!

Illinois is currently home to 14,673 manufacturers employing 557,000 workers, down from previous years. Still, manufacturing accounts for approximately 12% of our state’s total output. Protecting and growing manufacturing is crucial for Illinois’ finances and the state’s overall welfare.

TMA provides information to its members about how lawmakers vote on matters that affect their industry, careers, and families. Our members also want to know how prospective lawmakers, like you, think and will act on issues that will directly affect their lives.
