TMA Board director Nicole Wolter named to NAM Board
WASHINGTON DC – The National Association of Manufacturers added to its board of directors last week Nicole Wolter, who also serves on the board of the Technology & Manufacturing Association.
Ms. Wolter, who is President and Chief Executive Officer of HM Manufacturing in Wauconda, Illinois, will join the NAME Board to advance a manufacturing policy agenda that promotes growth and prosperity for all Americans.
Founded in 1895, the NAM, guided by its Board of Directors, is the largest industrial trade association in the United States with more than 14,000 members and is the nation’s most influential advocate for manufacturing. The NAM’s membership includes some of the world’s most iconic brands and many of the small manufacturers that power the US economy. Ninety percent of NAM’s members are small and medium-sized businesses.
“I am pleased to announce I’ve been named to the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers – NAM,” Ms. Wolter said in a statement on her Linked In page.
“Through this organization I look forward to advocating for policies that promote growth and prosperity for America’s manufacturing economy. I’m excited to be a part of this board that was founded in 1895 and has consistently worked to build and strengthen the manufacturing industry, support companies and employees alike.”
The NAM is at the forefront of every important policy debate for manufacturers. Executives on the NAM Board, which comprises leaders representing companies of all sizes in every industrial sector, are the driving force behind NAM’s advocacy efforts.
Ms. Wolter is also active with TMA’s Board of Directors, which, along with other networking services, provides advocacy at the state capitol on behalf of manufacturers.
